FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Edina ACT Scores Exceptional Edina, Minn., Aug. 14, 2008 – Edina Public Schools is pleased to announce that its students continue to perform exceptionally well on the ACT college entrance examination. The class of 2008 posted an average score of 26.2 – Edina’s highest ACT composite score in 13 years. In addition, the number of Edina graduates who report taking the ACT continues to be between 75 and 85 percent.
Edina’s average ACT score is considerably higher than Minnesota’s posted average of 22.6. The national average is 21.1. The highest possible score on the ACT is 36.
