FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Edina Public Schools Invites Public to Referendum and Technology Open Houses
Edina, Minn., October 13, 2011 –The Edina Public Schools is hosting two open houses to provide the public information about the November 8 referendum. In addition, the technology open house invites the community to experience how Edina students are using technology in the classroom to enrich learning. All sessions are free. Community Referendum Open Houses:Superintendent Ric Dressen will present information on the two November 8 referendum questions and the District’s technology plan; a question and answer session will follow.
New! The October 27 session will also be broadcast over the Internet in real time, allowing audience members to view the open house and ask questions from a computer or mobile device. Technology Open House:Edina Technology Integration Specialists will guide audience members through the new digital toolkit being used by Edina students for 21st century learning, as well as the District’s future plans for using technology to enrich learning.
