Edina Reads - "Healing the Heart of Democracy"

You’re invited to join the conversation

Join Lonni Skrentner, League of Women Voters – Edina board member and retired Edina High School teacher, and your fellow Edina community members in a thought-provoking dialogue about the state of democracy in Edina and what lies ahead for our community.

Using Parker J. Palmer’s Healing the Heart of Democracy as the conversation starter, Lonni will lead a discussion about what is important for our community to continue to thrive.

“At a critical time in American life, Parker J. Palmer looks with realism and hope at how to deal with our political tensions for the sake of the common good--without the shouting, blaming, or defaming so common in our politics today.”
